About this site
Medicine Creek is a developed backcountry campsite in Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area, accessible only by boat (from Barry's Landing north to Dayboard 32) or hike (3 miles on Barry's Island Trail). It features 5 separate sites, each with a level tent area for 1-2 tents, picnic table, bear box, and fire ring. A dock is available seasonally (typically May to September, lake levels permitting). Vault toilets are 2 miles south at Barry's Landing. Great swimming area and hiking trails nearby.
