Meadow Creek USFS Airstrip
About this site
The camping area is located about 800 ft from the north end of the airstrip, to the west (toward the river). The last camp site overlooks the river and has a nice view. There is a metal bear box to store your food items in on the north end of the field. Two outdoor toilets are near the camping area. There is great hiking on the trail just east of the field, going to the south. A few miles to the south is a pack bridge that crosses the river and gives access to a car parking area and dirt road system. Additional Info: USFS airstrip (Facility ID 0S1) with turf runway 2830 ft x 100 ft at elevation 3984 ft.
