McMillen Campground
About this site
This is a free, developed campground offered by Gila National Forest. It's located in a canyon about 14 miles north of Silver City, NM along Highway 15. It's small with only three (3) campsites, and these sites are small, suitable only for cars, vans, pickup trucks, and small trailers. Additional Info: The campground is in a riparian area surrounded by tall conifers. Year-round availability. Limited parking. Elevation 6,967 feet. No wood available; bring your own or use charcoal/propane. Pets must be leashed. 14-day stay limit. OHV, ATVs, hunting, and shooting prohibited. Stock animals not allowed.
