McMillan Woods Scout And Youth Group Campground

McMillan Woods Youth Campground is a primitive, walk-in campground located within Gettysburg National Military Park in a wooded area just west of Seminary Ridge. It is available exclusively to organized youth groups (Scouts, schools, church youth groups) and features 10 campsites, each accommodating 15-35 people depending on the site. Each site is equipped with two picnic tables and a fire ring. Tents and dining canopies are the only permitted shelters. The campground provides nine portable toilets, one accessible unit, and two potable water faucets. Camp stoves using propane or white gas are permitted; all wood fires must be contained within fire rings. There are no shower facilities. The campground is generally open from the weekend after Easter through the last weekend in October. Reservations are required.
