McLeod Meadows Campground is located on the banks of the Kootenay River in Kootenay National Park, offering a quiet wooded setting with mountain views. It provides access to hiking trails like Dog Lake Trail and wildlife viewing opportunities in open grasslands and river flood plains. Additional Info: Unserviced sites with picnic tables, fire pits, flush toilets, drinking water, sani-dump station, food lockers, picnic shelter, cooking shelter, and a theater. Best suited for tents and motorhomes/trailers under 30 feet. No hookups, no cell service. Open mid-May to late September.
