Shall Lake Access Point #17A is the vehicle-accessible parking and starting point for backcountry canoe trips into Algonquin Provincial Park, including routes to McKaskill Lake (13 km, one day paddle). Parking for one vehicle is included with backcountry permits; additional vehicles require extra permits. No on-site camping facilities at the access point itself; it provides entry to backpack/paddle-in sites and the McKaskill Lake Cabin (Site #753).
