McGarry Bar Primitive Boat Camp is located at river mile 103.3 on the Upper Missouri River in the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument. The campsite is situated on a grassy bottom with large shady cottonwood trees and is accessible only by boat. It features a metal fire ring and is historically significant as a Lewis and Clark campsite (May 27, 1805). No potable water is available at this site; the only potable water supply on the Upper Missouri River is at Coal Banks Landing (mile 41.5).
