McFarland Lake Campground is a small primitive campground in Grand Portage State Forest with 5 drive-in sites on a first-come, first-served basis. Sites include cleared area, fire ring, picnic table, vault toilets, drinking water, and garbage cans. Features swimming, boat ramp, and access to Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and Border Route Trail. Pets allowed. Additional Info: Located 17 miles from Hovland via Arrowhead Trail.
