McCreight Lake Campground
About this site
McCreight Lake Recreation Site is a free Provincial Recreation Site located northeast of Campbell River on Vancouver Island, BC. The site consists of 3 main campsites with 3 picnic tables, pit toilet, and fire pits. Beach access is available for canoes, inflatables, and kayaks. A boat ramp with dock is present, with additional parking for trailers across the road. Only smaller camping vehicles like truck campers and vans should use this campsite. The lake is stocked with cutthroat trout and kokanee, offering excellent fishing opportunities. Access is via Rock Bay Forest Service Road, which is in good condition.
