Maverick Campground
About this site
Maverick Campground is located along Highway 64 in Cimarron Canyon State Park, New Mexico, between the towns of Cimarron and Taos. It offers 39 non-electric sites for RVs and tents, including an accessible site. During peak season, reservations are required; off-peak is walk-up only. Full bathrooms with plumbing and potable water are available, but no electricity. Campfires allowed weather permitting. Additional Info: Situated on the east end of the Cimarron River in a narrow, forested canyon along the Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway. Toilets, picnic tables, and pet-friendly. No showers, potable water at site, sewage, or electric hookups.
