Massacre Flat is a primitive campsite in the Sacramento River Bend Recreation Area on BLM land, popular with boaters and hikers along the Yana Trail. It offers dispersed camping opportunities in a secluded oak canopy setting along a bend in the Sacramento River. No facilities, fees, or permits required for individual camping (up to 14 days). Accessible by foot from trailheads like Perry Riffle (~4-5 miles) or Jelly's Ferry (~9.5 miles round trip), or by boat.
