Marten River Provincial Park is a 400.25 hectare recreational park established in 1960, located at 2860 Highway 11 North, Marten River, ON. The park features 193 campsites spread across two campgrounds: Chicot (sites 1-114) and Assinika (sites 115-216), with 105 sites offering electrical hook-ups. Campsites are spacious and private, accommodating tents, trailers, and RVs. Amenities include freshwater taps, comfort stations, laundry facilities, boat launches, and three beach areas. The park serves as a southern gateway to the Temagami area and offers activities including canoeing, boating, hiking, fishing, and kayaking. A unique feature is a replica 19th-century logging camp with visitor centre and guided tours. Notable natural features include remnant stands of massive pines, including a 350-year-old White Pine accessible via the Transition Trail. The park operates May 15 to October 12 annually.
