Marmot Rock Campground is located on the south shore of Courtright Reservoir in Sierra National Forest, offering 15 walk-in tent-only campsites adjacent to Courtright Day Use Area. Large lodgepole pine trees provide shade for some sites with spectacular lake views. Sites include picnic tables and fire rings. This is bear country; store food properly. Additional Info: Amenities include pit toilets. Drinking water may be available seasonally ($24/night when available). Pets allowed for $2/night fee. Not suitable for RVs or trailers. Maximum stay 14 days, group size 6 per site. Great for fishing, kayaking, hiking, and stargazing.
