Campsite designated for hiking visitors only. Located within Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Additional Info: Designated hiker or boater campsite in the Gunnison Gorge Wilderness river corridor. Camping allowed only in designated sites identified on BLM maps and signs. Visitors must purchase camping permits and register at trailheads or Chukar boat launch. First-come, first-served basis. If accessing Black Canyon National Park from Chukar Trail or camping here, register and purchase Gunnison Gorge Wilderness permit. Gas stoves, grills, or fire pans required; pack out coals and ashes. No collecting wood for campfires.
