Marble Canyon Campground
About this site
Marble Canyon Campground is located at the north end of Kootenay National Park on the Banff-Windermere Highway, approximately 17km from the Trans-Canada Highway turnoff and 30+ minutes drive from both Lake Louise and Banff. The campground features 61 un-serviced campsites suitable for both tent camping and small to medium-sized RVs, with some pull-through sites available. Each site is surrounded by trees providing privacy and a cozy atmosphere. Facilities include flushing toilets, fire pits and picnic benches at all sites, drinking water, RV sani dumps, firewood, food lockers, a covered cooking/dining area, and recycling/garbage bins. The campground is situated opposite Marble Canyon with excellent access to numerous hiking trails including Stanley Glacier, Floe Lake, and Ball Pass, as well as nearby attractions in Banff and Yoho National Parks. The campground operates seasonally from June through September and requires advance reservations through Parks Canada.
