Manzano Mountains State Park is a 160-acre campground on the eastern slope of the Manzano Mountains in central New Mexico at 7,250 feet elevation, nestled in a Ponderosa pine forest with juniper and maple trees. It features 23-37 developed campsites including 9 with 30-amp electric hookups, primitive tent sites, vault toilets, drinking water at hydrants and dump station, dump station, tables, fire rings, group shelter, hiking trails, and handicap access. The park is seasonal, typically open April 1 to November 30, with reservations required April 1-October 15 and first-come first-served October 16-November 30. Access via NM-131 from Manzano village, last mile gravel road. Sites accommodate RVs up to 64 feet.
