State Park, Picnic area with shelter and beach access, historical military site, campsites. Additional Info: Manchester State Park is located on the eastern shores of Port Orchard with stunning views of the Puget Sound. The park features 35 tent camping spots (first-come, first-served during open season) and 15 utility spaces. Amenities include restrooms with showers, piped drinking water, fire rings at each site, and a dump station near the entrance. Maximum vehicle length is 60 feet. Pets are allowed but must be restrained by a six-foot leash. The park has an interesting military history, including the historic Torpedo Warehouse. During off-season (September 16 through May 14), campsites are available first-come, first-served.
