Mallard's Rest FAS

Mallard's Rest is a Montana FWP Fishing Access Site located on the Yellowstone River, 12 miles south of Livingston in Paradise Valley. The site features 13 campsites with picnic tables and fire rings, two vault toilets, drinking water, and a concrete boat ramp. Some sites sit directly on the riverbank while others are set back. A walk-in site is available on the south end. The steep, rough access road limits RV size to 30 feet maximum. Nightly camping fees apply ($12 with valid fishing license, $18 without). No reservations; all sites are first-come, first-served and typically fill early. No firewood is available. Cash and check only for payment. The site offers access to Yellowstone River fishing and scenic views of the Absaroka Mountains.
