Mahogany Cove Campground

The Mahogany Cove Campground is located in a grassy meadow along the Beaver Canyon Scenic Byway (Hwy-153), just 12 miles from Beaver, Utah. At 7,200 feet elevation this area is popular for visitors to enjoy hiking, mountain biking and fishing in the nearby Beaver River. The campground consists of one large group site, which is made up of seven individual sites that can accommodate a total of 150 people and 20 vehicles. Reservations for the group site are posted at the campground in advance. If the entire site is not reserved, individual sites can be used on a first-come-first-served basis. The first site has several picnic tables, a large grill and campfire ring. The other six sites each contain one picnic table, fire ring and grill. Vault toilet bathrooms and drinking water are available. Roads and parking areas within the campground are gravel and a large meadow is located just inside the entrance. Hwy-153 wraps around three sides of the campground; please exercise caution with children and pets. Open May - October.
