11 campsites on Lynx Pass. Fishing in nearby Lagunita Lake. Hiking & mountain biking trails go east and west of the campground. Additional Info: Located in the Gore Pass area on the Routt National Forest at 8,989 feet elevation. The campground is surrounded by lodgepole pine forest with a secluded, natural feel. Each site includes a picnic table and fire grate. First-come, first-served. Accommodates tents, campers, and trailers up to 18 feet. Popular for big game hunting in fall. Open early June to late September. No cell service. Nearest dump station is in Glenwood Springs (35 miles northwest).
