Rustic campsites with fire rings in Jeffrey Pine Forest. There is no trash service please pack out your trash. Additional Info: Lower Virginia Creek Primitive Campground is a free, first-come, first-served site with approximately 22 primitive campsites, fire rings, bear boxes, and vault toilets. Several sites can accommodate large trailers or motorhomes. No potable water or picnic tables available. Dogs must be on leash. A free California Campfire Permit is required for fires. Open late May to mid-October, weather permitting. Elevation 9,100 feet.
