Lower Shoals Trail Shelter Site is the second trail shelter on the Pinhoti National Recreation Trail in Talladega National Forest. Accessed by hiking east from Forest Service Road 531, it provides overnight shelter for hikers. Located 7.8 miles north of the South FS 500 Trailhead near Heflin, Alabama.
