Lower Nyack Creek
About this site
Lower Nyack Creek is a designated backcountry campsite in the Nyack/Coal Creek camping zone of Glacier National Park. This hike-in site requires advance reservations and a wilderness permit. Pets are prohibited. The National Park Service provides basic facilities including toilets. Campfires are allowed. A wilderness use permit is required for overnight camping, valid only for specified dates, locations, and party size up to 12 total with 4 per campsite. Permit fees apply May 1-Oct 31: $10 non-refundable reservation fee plus $7 per person per night. Additional Info: Access involves approximately 4.5 miles of hiking from Nyack Creek Trail Junction over rough terrain.
