Lower Jones Valley Campground

Lower Jones Valley Campground is located on the Pit River Arm of Shasta Lake within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. This small, intimate campground is situated in a canyon adjacent to the lake and offers 9 single sites and 2 double sites, each equipped with a paved parking spur, tent pad, raised fire ring, bear box, and picnic table. The average back-in parking spur is approximately 30 feet. The campground provides vault toilets, potable water, and trash service. A public boat ramp is located about 1 mile away at Jones Valley, offering access to the lake for water skiing, jet skiing, and fishing. Additional Info: Open year-round on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors must physically be at the campground to purchase and claim a site via Scan & Pay app, Iron Ranger (cash/check), or in-person. Interagency Senior and Access Passports eligible for 50% discount. Water systems may be turned off during winter months (November-March); bring own potable water.
