Lower Forge Campground is a primitive, hike-in/backcountry site in Wharton State Forest along the Batsto River, accessible by hiking 5-7 miles from Atsion or Batsto parking areas or by boat. It features basic pit toilets, campfire rings, and is pet-friendly. No potable water, showers, picnic tables, or vehicle access to sites. Sites are reservable and patrolled by rangers.
