Lower Butler Wash Camp is a backpacking site accessed by hiking down an old wagon road from the canyon rim into Lower Butler Wash. The trail descends 200 feet in 0.4 miles from 4WD parking or longer from 2WD parking off Bluff Airport Road. Features include Ancestral Puebloan ruins and the Butler Wash Petroglyph Panel at the San Juan River confluence.
