Loup Park

Loup Park/Lake Babcock is a 31-acre public park along the north and west shores of Lake Babcock, 3 miles north of Columbus, Nebraska. It offers electrical hook-ups and primitive camping at no charge from May 1 to November 1, weather permitting. No reservations accepted; maximum stay of seven days within any 30-day period in the Loup Park system. Amenities include playground areas, potable water (May–September), picnic tables, grills, trails, and nature walks. No dump stations, direct water hookups, or lifeguards; alcohol-free policy. Additional Info: Loup Power District manages five parks totaling 77 acres of land and 1,100 acres of water. Two Lakes Trail connects to other parks.
