Lost Horse Guard Station is a historic rental cabin built in 1938, located 18 miles west from Highway 93 in the Lost Horse Creek drainage of Bitterroot National Forest. The cabin sleeps up to 4-8 with bunk beds, wood stove for heat, and propane cook stove. No water, electricity, or trash service; pack in/out all supplies. Vault toilet nearby. Year-round access, but winter requires snowmobile or over-snow travel for last 14 miles. Managed by Darby Ranger District.
