About this site

Los Ojitos is a primitive campsite within Big Bend Ranch State Park, located approximately one mile from Sauceda headquarters. The name means "little springs" in Spanish, referring to natural springs located about 50 yards west of the campsite that form a pond surrounded by willows when flowing. The site is situated atop a hill with views to the north, west, and south. It is equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, shade shelter, and provides access to water, bathrooms, and hot showers. The site is accessible by standard vehicle on an old road without requiring high-clearance or 4WD vehicles, making it suitable for a wide range of camping vehicles.
