Closest campsite on the Wilderness Waterway to Everglades City, located between marker #126 and #127 on the southern bank of the Lopez River. This campsite is easily located by spotting the cement cistern which marks the old Lopez homestead built at the turn of the century. Additional Info: Amenities include beach/water access, benches/seating, picnic table, scenic view/photo spot, and vault/composting toilet. Sites support tent camping and groups; reservable.
