Long Arm Boat-in Campground is located on the Long Arm Peninsula in Lake James State Park, North Carolina. It consists of 30 reservation-only sites across three areas (L1-L30), accessible only by boat, canoe, or kayak. Sites are 20-150 feet from the shoreline with gentle beach areas for docking, no dock. Each site has a picnic table, fire pit, and tent pad. Vault toilets are available but no drinking water; all trash must be carried out. Park at Canal Bridge Access, Linville Access, or bathhouse area before paddling or boating to sites. Additional Info: Sites require reservations via ReserveAmerica. Easy paddle for kayaks/canoes from bathhouse. Offers lake views and access to quiet coves.
