This forested campground, surrounded by nearby mountains, is located along Early Winters Creek on State Route 20. This campground has beautiful mountain views, access to Lone Fir Trail 535 and is near Cutthroat Creek Trail 483. Good overnight spot for bicyclists. Next campground westbound is located at Diablo Lake. Fee info: Overnight Use: Single Site: $20 per night Additional Vehicle Fee: $10 per vehicle per night Additional Info: 27 first-come, first-served sites accommodating tents and RVs up to 36 feet. Maximum 2 vehicles, 2 tents, or 1 RV and 1 tent per site. Vault toilets, drinking water, picnic tables, fire rings, and trash service available. Open typically June through October, weather dependent. Early Winters Creek closed to fishing. Elevation 3,600 feet.
