This is a single "yellow post" campsite located along the creek side of Lytle Creek Road lies about 500 further up the road from Cold Camp. The campsite is long enough for full sized motorhomes and fifth-wheel trailers to get into, and is much easier to back into based on the way it is angled from the road. Additional Info: This single Yellow Post Campsite offers a similar amount of privacy as Cold Camp, but less room, though still long enough for full sized motorhomes and trailers. There is still considerable traffic, OHV riders, and hikers going up and down Lytle Creek Road. The road in is well-packed and suitable for any vehicle, but it’s bumpy. During heavy rains, you want to avoid driving up here because the creek will swell. Campfires require a California Campfire Permit which is the law all across the state. You can get one for free online just by watching a video and filling out a form at the Ready for Wildfire Website.
