Logan State Park is a year-round campground on the north shore of Middle Thompson Lake in northwest Montana, heavily forested with western larch, Douglas-fir, and ponderosa pine. It offers 37 campsites with tables and fire rings, accommodating RVs up to 40 feet, tent sites, and group areas. Amenities include flush toilets, showers, drinking water, RV dump station (seasonal), boat launch, swimming beach, picnic areas, horseshoe pit, and firewood sales. Activities include swimming, boating, water skiing, fishing for rainbow trout and largemouth bass, canoeing, wildlife viewing, and winter ice fishing. B-loop is open year-round first-come-first-served; A-loop is seasonal, closed September 21, 2025, reopening May 2026. Electric and water hookups available at select sites; sewer hookups not available. Additional Info: Day use fee $5 for non-residents. Overnight camping approximately $13-$15 per night, off-season lower. Showers require quarters or tokens. Pets allowed on leash.
