Log Gulch Campground

Log Gulch Campground is situated on the picturesque Holter Lake in west-central Montana, approximately 45 miles north of Helena and 60 miles south of Great Falls, along the Missouri River. The campground offers 70 campsites with spacious gravel parking pads that accommodate RVs, camper trailers, and tents. Most campsites can accommodate up to 2 RVs or tents per site, with two tent-only sites available. All sites are reservation-only with a 7-day consecutive stay limit and 14-day limit within a 28-day period. Amenities include potable water throughout the campground, vault toilets with handicapped accessibility, fire rings with grill grates, and picnic tables. No hookups are available. The campground features a large concrete boat launch with a courtesy dock, day-use and overnight dock slips (first-come, first-served), a fish cleaning station (7 a.m.–10 p.m. daily), and a beach with an enclosed swimming area (Memorial Day through Labor Day, no lifeguard). Two ramada shelters are available for public use. Hiking trails are accessible from the park. Camp hosts or staff are typically available onsite seven days a week from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Quiet hours are 10 p.m.–7 a.m. with no generator use allowed during this time.
