Locust Creek Conservation Area
About this site
Locust Creek Conservation Area is a 3,451-acre public area managed by the Missouri Department of Conservation, featuring bottomland and upland forest, cropland, grassland, wetland, and old field habitats. Locust Creek flows through the area for 5.7 miles. Primitive camping is permitted with no designated sites or fees; first-come, first-served. Camping is limited to 14 consecutive days in any 30-day period, and total 30 days per calendar year across department areas. Quiet hours 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Non-occupants must leave by 10 p.m.
