Live Oak Campground

Live Oak Campground is a walk-in campground in Mount Diablo State Park with 22 sites for tents and small trailers up to 20 ft. It features picnic tables, fire rings, food lockers, flush toilets, and seasonal potable water. Pets are allowed in the campground and paved areas but not on trails. The site offers direct access to hiking trails amid oak woodlands and rocky terrain. $30 per night, reservable, year-round operation. Additional Info: Located at lower elevation near park entrance with distinctive rock formations. Cooler than summit areas but subject to Diablo winds. Food storage required due to wildlife.
