Additional Info: Little Tinicum Island is a primitive camping site on a 3-mile-long island in the Delaware River near Essington, PA, managed by the Pennsylvania Bureau of Forestry. It features one designated campsite amid scrub forest, tidal freshwater wetlands, and mudflats supporting unique wetland species and waterfowl observation. Access is by boat; arrive with high tide recommended. Bring essentials like backpack, small tent, camping stove, and water as no facilities are available.
