Little Sand Point State Campground
About this site
Located on picturesque Piseco Lake with wooded, hilly terrain at an elevation of 1,660 feet. The campground features well-spaced, large wooded campsites consisting of conifers and mixed hardwoods. Activities include hiking, swimming, fishing, canoeing, and sailing. Numerous hiking trails are located minutes from the campground, including a short trek to Echo Cliffs. The 133-mile Northville-Lake Placid Trail is nearby. Additional Info: The campground operates from May 17 through September 2. Concrete boat launch, hot showers, flush and vault toilets, trailer dump station, firewood for purchase, pay telephone, and recycling center available on site. Wheelchair accessible features include accessible campsite (Site 34) and central shower building at Little Sand Point. Family sites available that accommodate up to 12 people.
