Little Molas Lake Campground

Little Molas Lake Campground is a no-fee, primitive campground located at 11,000 feet in the San Juan National Forest near Silverton, Colorado, along US Highway 550 (San Juan Scenic Byway). The campground offers 10 designated first-come, first-served campsites with a maximum 14-day stay limit. Amenities include vault toilets, fire pits with grills, and picnic tables. About half of the sites can accommodate RVs or horse trailers. The campground serves as a popular access point for the Colorado Trail (Segments 24-25) and is ideal for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and fishing. The area is typically open from June through September, weather permitting. No potable water, electricity, or hookups are available. Pets are allowed on leash.
