LITTLE MOLAS DISPERSED CAMPGROUND (Campground) and (Trailhead) Additional Info: Dispersed camping area in San Juan National Forest at high elevation near Little Molas Lake and Molas Pass. Approximately 10 first-come, first-served sites with no fees or reservations. Vault toilets available. No potable water, trash service, picnic tables, or hookups. 14-day stay limit. Access via 1-mile dirt road off US Highway 550, about 5-7 miles south of Silverton. Serves as trailhead for Colorado Trail segments 24 and 25. Suitable for tents and some RVs; additional dispersed camping in surrounding forest.
