Little Missouri State Park Campground
About this site
Little Missouri State Park is a 6,000-acre oasis located in western North Dakota's Badlands, approximately 10 miles north of Killdeer near the confluence of the Little Missouri River and Lake Sakakawea. The campground offers 31 campsites including 28 modern sites with electrical hookups (30/50 power) and 3 primitive sites. Amenities include a shower house, horse corrals, picnic areas, fire rings, potable water, and a fish cleaning station. The park features over 40 miles of trails suitable for hiking and horseback riding through picturesque badlands terrain. Reservations are required and can be made online or by phone up to 95 days in advance. The park operates seasonally from May through October.
