Little Lasier Meadows Campground is a horse camp near scenic Jackson Meadow Reservoir in the Tahoe National Forest, approximately 32 miles north of Truckee. The location provides a great base camp for a wide range of recreational activities, including boating, fishing, hiking, horseback riding and hunting. The Pacific Crest Trail passes just half a mile away. The campground offers equestrian sites for campers with horses. Sites are equipped with picnic tables, campfire rings and hitching racks. A shared horse corral is on-site. Vault toilets and drinking water are provided. The campground lies in a grassy meadow surrounded by lodgepole pine and fir trees, at an elevation of 6,511 feet. Utility hookups, showers, telephones and cell phone service are not available at the campground. Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed.
