Lions Beach Campground is located in Elephant Butte Lake State Park near a large reservoir in New Mexico. The area features flat terrain with sparse vegetation. Sites include electric and water hookups, picnic tables, fire rings, and grills. Primitive camping is also available nearby. Activities include water sports, hiking, biking, fishing, and stargazing. Max vehicle length is 40 feet. Additional Info: Quiet campground with lake views. One dump station serves the park. Reservations recommended; late arrivals must contact park.
