Limekiln State Park Campground is a 29-site campground in Big Sur offering redwood forest and beachfront sites. Each site includes a parking area for at least one vehicle, fire pit, and picnic table. No hookups are available. Amenities include fresh drinking water, hot token-operated showers ($1 per 5 minutes), and flush toilets. Reservations are required; no first-come first-served sites. Hike and bike site available for $5/night. Beach sites allow 2 vehicles; redwood sites allow 1. Dump station not available on site. Additional Info: Park features trails to Limekiln Falls and historic lime kilns. Campground currently closed due to safety and infrastructure issues from early 2024 storm events; limited day use available.
