This campground has six camping spots and a boat launch to the picturesque Lily Lake. The site has a 16-day stay limit and not accessible to persons with mobility impairments. Notes: Boat launch, three shared bear boxes, five picnic tables, new metal fire rings or grates will be installed, and no garbage collection. Food storage is required and there is a 16-day stay limit. Additional Info: Lily Lake Campground is located at 6,900 ft elevation in Shoshone National Forest near the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness border. It offers trout fishing, canoeing, primitive boat ramp, and wildlife viewing. First come, first served with donations accepted. Grizzly bear country; proper food storage required. Open Memorial Day to Labor Day, subject to weather. Currently under construction to expand to seven sites.
