Lightning Creek Stock Camp

Lightning Creek Stock Camp is a boat-in campsite located in North Cascades National Park, approximately 200 feet from the Skagit River and 10 miles west of Ross and Diablo lakes. The camp is situated in the Cascade foothills and provides access to numerous hiking trails. All sites include vault toilets and bear-proof food-storage lockers. No reservations are available; sites are first-come, first-served. A federal dock permit is required for motorboats from May 1 to October 31. Please note that due to low lake levels in winter and spring, the dock is removed each fall and reinstalled in early summer once lake levels reach 1,096 feet, which may affect accessibility.
