Lidtke Park is a 10-acre park set along the scenic Upper Iowa River. This scenic park provides an excellent camping and picnicking location while offering individuals the opportunity to fish and giving canoeists a starting point for their river trips. The park features flat terrain with open spaces and wooded areas. Camping areas are provided with electricity and water. Other facilities include a shelter, boat ramp, playground equipment, and modern restrooms. Nearby attractions include Hayden Prairie State Preserve, the state's largest prairie area, and the historic Lidtke Mill, a remarkably preserved 1860 gristmill. Additional Info: The park offers 30 electric/non-electric camping sites with both tent and RV sites available. Two canoe landings provide access to the Upper Iowa River for paddling adventures.
