About this site
Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park is a vehicle-accessible provincial park campground located on the Alaska Highway in northern British Columbia. The park is home to the largest natural hot springs in Canada. Campsites are treed with lots of space and are available on both a reservation and first-come-first-served basis. The campground features clean facilities, restrooms throughout the site, and a playground for children. A approximately 5-minute walk from the campground leads to the hot springs area with change rooms. Drinking water is available on site. There are no electrical, water, or sewer hookups at individual campsites, and no RV dump station. Camping fees are $26 CAD per night (as of 2026). Payment is accepted in cash, credit, or debit at the staffed gatehouse, which also functions as a visitor centre. The park is open year-round with day-use fees of $5 per adult or $10 per family from May 1 to September 30.
