Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park Campground has 40 campsites and is located near one of the most spectacular limestone caverns in North America. There are also 3 cabins and a tipi you can reserve. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Sites parking spurs range from 31 to 52 feet. Campsites D1, D2 and E3 (ADA) have 50-amp electric. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, vault & flush toilets, showers, trash collection, kennel and a dump station. Firewood is also available for purchase from the camp host. The Park also has picnic areas, a playground and visitor center (gift shop). The camp host, dump station, shower, flush toilets and water are only available May through September. Cell service is good in the area. Additional Info: The park encompasses 3,015 acres and features one of the most highly decorated limestone caverns in the Northwest. Located at elevations ranging from 4,300 feet at the entry to 5,300 feet at the caverns area. Cavern tours are available May through September, with limited candlelight tours in December. The park offers over 10 miles of trails for hiking and biking, an amphitheater for ranger-led programs, and access to the Jefferson River.
